Zorawar Kalra
“The Man with a Vision on a Mission” and the Prince of Indian Cuisine.
An MBA from Boston’s Bentley University, Zorawar Kalra launched The Royal Parantha Company and Wrapster Foods — home of the acclaimed Punjab Grill — becoming, at 35, one of India’s youngest successful restaurant entrepreneurs.
After a successful exit, he and his father Jiggs Kalra founded Massive Restaurants in December 2012. In its first year of operations the company won 19 awards.

A tribute
The Czar of Indian Cuisine
Jiggs Kalra was the greatest ambassador Indian food has known — “Tastemaker to the Nation” and the Czar of Indian Cuisine. For over four decades he set the benchmarks for Indian cuisine and hospitality as a food columnist, writer, gastronome and consultant.
He was the first Asian inducted into the International Food & Beverage Gourmet Hall of Fame. He represented India at the first World Gourmet Summit in Singapore and at the St. Moritz Winter Festival, and planned the food for the diplomatic delegations at the 2001 Indo-Pak Summit in Agra.

- Over 11 titles, including Prashad — still considered the bible for chefs and part of hospitality curricula — Dawat and Zaike ka Safar.

- Pioneered food on Indian television with Dawat and Zaike ka Safar.

Zorawar and Jiggs Kalra found Massive Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. to develop India’s premier restaurant brands.

The company wins 19 awards across categories in its first year of operations.
- The portfolio
Masala Library, Farzi Café, Made In Punjab, Pa Pa Ya, Bo Tai, YOUnion and Swan open, followed by the delivery-first Louis Burger and Slyce Pizza.
- Today
Massive brands are present in 10 countries, with Farzi Café alone spanning India, the UK, Canada and the Middle East.
